Terms of Service

These terms govern use of the Tour de Goizueta website, mobile app, and related competition services operated by Venture Physiology LLC. By creating an account or participating, you agree to these terms and the posted Tour Rules.
Participation and accounts
The Tour is intended for invited adult participants. You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information, protecting access to your account, connecting only workout accounts you are authorized to use, and promptly reporting suspected misuse.
Workout synchronization and scoring
Connected sources provide workout information at the participant's direction. Eligibility, duplicate detection, review status, points, standings, and corrections are determined under the Tour Rules. Provider availability and measurements may be delayed, incomplete, corrected, or unavailable. Organizers may review or exclude entries to protect fair competition.
Participants choose Apple Health, Google Health Connect, or Strava for workout synchronization and separately choose Apple Health or Google Health Connect for exact-stage-window step totals. Only the selected source in each category contributes. Steps do not create individual or team points, but may independently qualify a participant for stage milestones, tokens, Tour progress, and the Steps leaderboard under the Tour Rules. Step sources are never added together. Manual step totals require a screenshot and organizer approval. You must submit only accurate information and evidence that you are authorized to provide.
The Tour is a fitness and leadership competition, not a medical service. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or individualized exercise clearance. Participants are responsible for choosing activities appropriate for their circumstances.
Third-party services
The Tour may interoperate with services including Apple HealthKit, Android Health Connect, Strava, Supabase, Vercel, Expo, Apple, Google, and Resend. Those services are independent and governed by their own terms and privacy practices. References to compatibility do not imply sponsorship or endorsement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, all warranties on behalf of third-party service providers—including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement—are disclaimed. Third-party service providers are excluded from liability for consequential, special, punitive, and indirect damages arising from use of the Tour.
Acceptable use
You may not submit fabricated activity or steps, falsified evidence, connect another person's account, interfere with synchronization or scoring, access another participant's private information, abuse the service, or use the Tour unlawfully. We may restrict or remove access when necessary to protect participants, providers, or competition integrity.
Kudos and comments must relate constructively to the Tour and may not include harassment, threats, discrimination, impersonation, spam, unlawful material, or another person's private information. Comments are attributed to the submitting participant. Organizers may hide or restore comments to administer the competition, and participants may remove their own comments.
Availability and changes
The Tour is provided on an as-available basis. Features, provider connections, rules, schedules, and access may change when needed for safety, compliance, technical reliability, or fair administration. Material changes will be communicated through reasonable Tour channels.
Account control and contact
You may disconnect workout sources or delete your account using the controls described in the account-deletion guide. Data handling is explained in the Privacy Policy. Questions may be sent to eric.james.holshouser@emory.edu.
